We Are Craftsmen, Not a Cremation Service Provider

Exotic Wood Epoxy is a woodworking and artisan studio. We design and manufacture handcrafted vessels intended for use as cremation urns and decorative objects. We are not a funeral home, cremation provider, mortuary, or licensed handler of human or animal remains under Washington State law (RCW 68.50) or any other applicable regulation.

We Do Not Handle Cremated Remains

We do not offer, perform, or facilitate any service involving the handling, transportation, processing, or incorporation of cremated remains (cremains) into any of our products. This includes but is not limited to:

Ash-in-resin or ash-in-epoxy services
Infusion of cremains into any material used in our products
Receiving, storing, or returning cremated remains

Any request for such services will be declined. If you are seeking ash-infusion memorial products, please consult a licensed provider in your state.

Product Suitability

Our urns are crafted to standard cremation capacity guidelines, but we make no guarantee that any specific vessel will meet the requirements of a particular funeral home, crematorium, or regulatory body. It is the customer's responsibility to verify suitability with their funeral service provider prior to purchase.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Exotic Wood Epoxy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the item in question.

We are not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, storage, environmental conditions, or use inconsistent with our Care & Handling guidelines.

Shipping Damage

We package all orders with care. In the event of shipping damage, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. Claims submitted after this window may not be eligible for replacement or credit.

Governing Law

These terms and all transactions with Exotic Wood Epoxy are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Washington State.
